About the Artist

Although I work in corporate finance and library science, my artistic "right brain" has always focused on portraits, greeting cards and children's illustrations. I use watercolors, pastels, colored pencil, and pen and ink to display the curious energy and genuine expressions of children and imaginary animals. I am a member of the Children's Book Illustrators' Guild and the Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators, and have been contracted for pieces through art fairs, exhibits and personal contacts. I hope that my illustrations will stir viewers to imagine, remember, relate and smile.
I live in Mahtomedi with my husband Steve, Nuisance the polydactyl Cat and 14 fish. |
